Erin is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), and Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist. She operates from a trauma-informed, feminist, and culturally-sensitive viewpoint and is person-centred and humanistic.
Erin’s primary counselling modalities are Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) Compassion-Focused Therapy (a type of CBT), Hypnotherapy as a Trauma Specialist. Her specialties are neurodivergence (particularly autism and ADHD), trauma, grief, loss, and death and dying. She works a lot with people who are interested in investigating their own possible neurodiversity, as well as people who are newly diagnosed and looking to understand their lives in the context of being neuordiverse. Erin is also a trained death doula.
Erin enjoys working with teens, adults, and anyone experiencing significant life changes, and works with individuals, families, and groups both in person and virtually. She sees clients from age 10+.
Erin has a wacky sense of humour, deep sense of justice and core value that everyone deserves access to ethical, judgment-free care. She self-identifies as being a queer and neurodiverse human.
In her personal life, Erin enjoys gardening, being active outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones.
