Spring is springing?!

As the days lengthen and the buds of plants are getting ready to burst with flowers and leaves, it is a time of engaging more easily with the outdoors, at the same time that spring can also be hard for many as it is a season of change.

I encourage you to find ways to honour and move your body in ways that work for you - perhaps go for a wander to notice the new growth, explore puddles, and find ways to bring moments of awe into your life. I find it can be so helpful to slow down, notice the small wonders that children notice and bring attention to these details: the ripple of the breeze in a puddle, the vivid greens, yellows, and purples of new plant growth, the hopeful chirp of birds. When we slow down to notice the details of the world, we bring ourselves more into the present and connection with the world around us, which helps slow time down. And when we slow down time, we may find we have more time to be present and engage in life than we thought we had.

Who knew we could influence our perceptions of the passage of time?!

Happy exploring!
